The Putzke Family

November proved to be a beautiful month in Michigan. The leaves are gone and the crisp fall days turned colder and colder. No snow yet, but it’s predicted for later this week. Our family was graced with a stomach virus that made us alter our Thanksgiving plans last minute. We had planned to travel to Chicago to be with Aaron’s mom’s cousin and family, but canceled our trip the day before due to the illness. We were so sad to miss out on being with family, especially ones as cool as the Haugens, but will reschedule so we can see them soon. Here’s more info on our November:

Aaron has started experiments, is working on a paper and has ordered his zebrafish. He’s got three students working on experiments in the lab and that is going well. He did a top notch job cutting down and setting up our Christmas tree. Aaron is thankful for a healthy family.

Wendi continues to work on crafty stuff, including scrapbooking and photography, when she’s not doing laundry or taking care of the family. She threw together a last minute Thanksgiving feast when plans changed. Wendi is thankful for joy and love that help through good and bad times.

Evan is now a yellow belt! Not only did he promote to yellow belt this month, he also received two awards- one for perfect attendance and another for special recognition for being so enthusiastic. Evan is thankful for the universe, the world, God and chewing gum.

Dannan continues with ballet, preschool, outdoor play, and being a trouble maker. She still loves to “mother” Kellen and does so daily. She was thankful for her My Little Ponies.

Kellen loves rolling over, eating toys and has just started to sit up. We have just begun feeding him rice cereal, which he did not enjoy the first time, but definitely gets it now.  He’s been pretty mesmerized by the tree lights and really loves dogs (which is good since Flicker loves him). Kellen seems to be thankful for Mommy and Daddy.
